Phlebology

Phlebology is the medical discipline specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of venous diseases such as varicose veins.

It is essential to consult a healthcare professional with the required phlebology training if you have symptoms of varicose veins. Early treatment can help prevent more serious complications in addition to improving your quality of life and the appearance of your legs.

Sclerotherapy

At VivaMD Clinic, we specialize in sclerotherapy, which is a medical technique used to treat varicose veins and spider veins. It consists of injecting a sclerosing solution into the sick vein, which causes it to close and be reabsorbed by the body. Compared to other therapeutic approaches to varicose veins, sclerotherapy is not invasive, requiring minimal recovery time. It often prevents the need for a surgical intervention for varicose veins.
